Co-Founder, Coffee Circle
Martin Elwert is co-founder of Coffee Circle, a Berlin-based coffee company he started with two friends in 2010. Coffee Circle personally sources green coffee from small-holder coffee growers in Ethiopia, roasts it in Berlin and sells the coffee mainly through its website coffeecircle.com. Before becoming a social entrepreneur, Martin worked as a management consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in China and Germany, advising private equity investors, manufacturers across industries as well as governments. Martin holds a degree in Business Administration of HHL-Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Further, he is also coach to the Yunus Social Business Program and part of the Responsible Leaders Network of the BMW foundation.
