Researcher, Alexander von Humboldt Institute
Martin is a doctoral researcher in “Innovation & Entrepreneurship” at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society. His PhD research focuses on the individual competencies of founders and founding teams in fast growing Internet startups. In the past two years Martin supported more than 100 startups with their challenges in customer acquisition, marketing & sales. He has many years of sales and business development experience in startups and larger companies, where he, amongst other things, built, managed and developed sales teams. His special area of expertise is anything related to B2B-sales, sales strategy and methodology. Martin teaches university courses in CRM, eBusiness and sales management. He gives regular talks and workshops in the Startup Scene and is a mentor at several Berlin-based accelerators and incubators. Martin holds a Masters degree in international marketing management from the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
