Editor in chief, Sentifi
After his Abitur in Hannover in 1984 he studied history, national economy and Literature in Hamburg, Bordeaux and Vienna. In 1990 he concluded his study as a Master and finished a two-year-old practical training at Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung.
In 1993 he began there as an editor with the department municipal economy. From 1998 he was speaker of the ministry of Lower Saxony for economy, technology and traffic.
In 2000, he joined the Handelsblatt, German business daily. There, Oliver created an every-day-backroundpage. In 2002 he took over the responsibility for the countries Switzerland and Austria and had his offices in Zurich and Vienna. In the year of the financial crisis he swept back to Germany as a leader of the Handelsblatt´s financial pages and took over the Frankfurt Handelsblatt editorial staff. Four years later he became editor in chief to Dusseldorf, responsible for the digital version of Handelsblatt.
As of March 2016, he is editor in Chief at Sentifi, a company based in Zürich and Ho-Chi-Minh-City, who structures data of the financial crowd.
Oliver Stock has written several books, for example about the enterprise of the Continental AG, as well as a portrait collection about Swiss economic leaders.
